"In Each Believing Heart"

SCRIPTURE TEXT: 1 John 3:1-3, 18-24

Our annual Christmas Eve candle lighting service in our temporary sanctuary* (& streaming live online) is when we gather as a family of faith to conclude the season of Advent. We'll celebrate the arrival of our Lord with Christmas worship and a message from Pastor Court completing our Advent series on the beloved Christmas carol, HARK! THE HERALD ANGELS SING, and how it proclaims many powerful scriptural truths & promises. In this final message of the series, we'll look at the hymn's timeless testimony (in its too-rarely sung fith stanza) to the ultimate Christmas message: how Jesus is born into the heart of each believer by faith, even as In Each Believing Heart, through that very faith every believer is born-again in the Christ who came to save us. We’ll conclude our service hour with the lighting of candles to fill the sanctuary—and our souls—with the PROCLAMATION of the LIGHT of God’s LOVE!
