The Power to Proclaim

SCRIPTURE TEXTS: Acts 1:12-22; 1 Corinthians 15:1-11

Continuing our new sermon series in The Book of Acts, we conclude Acts chapter one with the record of the disciples prayerfully selecting "Another Apostle" to replace the betrayer, Judas Iscariot. This provides a pivot point to also consider others who would come later as ones equally called & sent in the power of the Holy Spirit to proclaim the truths of Christ, as yet another Apostle, Paul, described in 1 Corinthians chapter 15. Inasmuch as we as believers are called by Christ to proclaim the Kingdom, so also we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to make that proclamation persuasively, with signs & wonders, in wisdom & in truth.

*NOTE: This combined Sunday service will convene at 10AM due to Mother's Day.
