Haggai 1:1-12 | We continue our November sermon series on our call to "Proclaim the Feasts of the Lord" by looking at the inspired words of the ancient Hebrew prophet Haggai. The Lord's wisdom spoken through Haggai calls us to consider the ways of our daily living in penetrating, personal, & practical fashion. Here we are urged to realize that by honoring God in the appointed times & ways of thanksgiving, we come to proclaim real worship through the very way we live.

1st SUNDAY IN ADVENT | Luke 2:1-20 | This year, as we advance through the weeks of Advent, we’ll study together the five stanzas of the beloved Christmas carol, "HARK! THE HERALD ANGELS SING," a Wesleyan hymn rich in Biblical references & theological significance. In this first week of Advent, we'll focus on the biblical witness that equips us to "With the Angelic Host Proclaim" the coming of Christ that forms the the hope of Advent, the core of Christmas, & the very heart of our faith.

2nd SUNDAY IN ADVENT | Isaiah 7:14; John 1:1-18; Rev 21:1-7 | As we advance through the weeks of Advent, we’re studying together through the five stanzas of the beloved Christmas carol, HARK! THE HERALD ANGELS SING, a Wesleyan hymn rich in scriptural references & theological significance. In this second week of Advent, we'll follow the hymn's biblical witness that calls us all to Hail the Incarnate Deity of Jesus the Christ, He who is both fully human and fully divine, our everlasting Immauel ("God With Us").

3rd SUNDAY IN ADVENT | Malachi 4:2 | Progressing through the stanzas of the beloved Christmas carol, HARK! THE HERALD ANGELS SING for our Advent sermon series in week three, we unfold a plethora of Biblical references to the resurrection promise and healing power of our Savior Jesus Christ, the "Sun of Righteousness" who "rises with healing in His wings."
