WEEK 2: HANG ON TO HOPE / DAY 8: Faith

When your faith feels stretched thin, HANG ON TO HOPE. As we PREPARE WITH PURPOSE this second week of Advent, most of us are also experiencing the mounting demands of the season with its potential stresses & stretchings of our time & pocketbooks. Some of us also may be struggling with the sorrows of the season: a loved one lost, a dream deferred, family or friends now alientated from us, memories of past pain, the pressure of present darkness or depression. This is a good time to remember that God grants rest to the weary, wisdom to those who seek Him, & refreshment of HOPE to those who faithfully trust in Him today!
Submit EVERY pain & hurt to God today & be willing to still trust in Him no matter how long you've waited, no matter how deep your disappointment has been, believing something better is coming from Him. No matter your hurt or the length of your wait, trust in the Lord & the strength of His Word--and HANG ON TO HIS HOPE!
